Specialized and Consultative Services Provided

The Fussy Baby Service provides specialized guidance for parents of infants who are six months of age and older but are still having difficulty with regulation, such as constant irritability or crying, trouble with sleeping or eating, or sensitivity to touch, movement or sound.

The Parent-Child Program provides intervention, support and education for families with children who have been, or are now, at-risk for abuse and/or neglect.

The Child Placement Consultation Team provides consultation to the Courts and Child Welfare agencies concerning the best permanent placement for children who have been abused and/or neglected.

Consultation and Training on a regular and as-needed basis is provided to community groups including the Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program, early intervention professionals, child care providers, schools, health and mental health care professionals, attorneys and judges.
