The Lourie Center School is seeking the following positions for the 2008-2009 school year:

Assistant Director of Education-FT

• Master's Degree in Special Education/Education.
• MSDE certified Elementary School Teacher - special education endorsement Preferred.
• Knowledge of Maryland State Voluntary Curriculum.
• Extensive knowledge of classroom management.
• Extensive knowledge of elementary school curriculums used with children with special needs.
• Knowledge of Response to Intervention practices.
• Five (5) years elementary school teaching experience.
• Two (2) years administrative experience.

Special Education Teacher-FT

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in special education. Master's Preferred.
• Must be certified or be eligible for certification for Early Childhood/Elementary special
  education from by the Maryland State Department of Education, obtaining or holding either a conditional, standard, or advanced teaching certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Early Childhood/Elementary special education is preferred.
• Experience teaching children with emotional disturbance a PLUS!
  

One to One Aide-FT

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education or related field
• Experience working with children-experience with children with emotional disturbance a PLUS!
  

  Pediatric Occupational Therapist-FT

• Requires a Bachelor's of Science degree in occupational therapy with knowledge of sensory integration and neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment approaches for young children.
• The clinician must also understand the ways in which motor and sensory processing problems impact on social/emotional and cognitive areas and how to treat children with serious emotional disorders.
• Maryland licensure is required.
