Children,
from nursery (age four) through grade five, who
have emotional, behavioral, and developmental
difficulties that interfere with their learning
and functioning in a regular classroom setting
may be eligible. Diagnoses or symptoms addressed
include the following:
Attention deficits
Attachment/separation problems
Self-regulation disorders
Excessive shyness, fearfulness, anxiety
or mood disorders
Post- traumatic stress disorder
Aggressive or other disruptive behaviors
Asperger's Syndrome
Developmental delays
Inability to establish or maintain positive
relationships with peers or family
