This
Center is a community-based program, located off-site
in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. The Center
provides an array of services to promote healthy
family functioning and child development for Montgomery
County families with children up to four years of
age. The Center's services include parent education
and support, infant/toddler care, parent-child activity
groups, health care education, adult education and
employment readiness and home visiting.
The
Center, one of the Friends of the Family Support
Centers in Maryland, is a collaboration of the Lourie
Center, the Mental Health Association of Montgomery
County and the Montgomery County Department of Health
and Human Services.
